Person Biography:
About 20 years ago I moved to Indiana from Texas. After
leaving there, I quickly missed the cowboy way of life.
However, rather than returning to Texas, I decided to bring
Texas to me.
Inspired by the masters like Ray Hunt and Tom Dorrance, I mainly focused on starting young horses and fixing "problem" horses.
Since
the majority of the problems are people problems, not horse problems, I
focus on educating the owners and involve them in all phases of the
training. I also hold horse and rider clinics for horse owners,
4H clubs and sheriff posses.
This small thing I do for the horse
doesn't begin to compare to what the horse does for me. Winston
Churchill said it best: "
There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the
inside of a man"
